A:Answer Thanks for your question, Russ. Keurig brewers are made to be used at elevations up to 6,000 ft. K-Cup pods may need to be pre-punctured prior to brewing to release the pressure inside. To do this simply drop the pod into the K-Cup pod chamber and use the palm of your hand to push down on the pod so that the bottom is punctured by the exit needle in the bottom of the chamber before you close the handle.
