• Yes the carafe is included. My box came with the carafe, 6 kcups, 4 Carafepods, and a water filter.

• It does. The "50" in the name means it comes with the accessories whereas a K400 / K500 would not.

• Yes it comes with the basic starter carafe, it works well for a starter carafe, but they sell a better one online and in some stores that is stainless steel and will hold temp for longer periods.

• Yes, but it is just a very basic plastic carafe. You would want to buy the upgraded carafe for better insulation. There are offers for ordering the upgraded carafe in the box.
