However it can mount to the exterior of any of the panels in the rear compartment area. In the 2015 4Runner, it will fit directly under either the drivers or passenger seat which is the optimal placement for this device in this vehicle. It's the reason they call it a hideaway. The amplifier it's not a separate device in this kit, it is part of the entire enclosure. No additional Parts necessary. The device in the picture has everything inside. connect to your battery, chassis, and stereo. I have two of them in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler, one under both the driver and passenger seat. They work abso-freakin'-lutely amazing! In truth, I only needed one but I am addicted to Overkill. As far as installation charge goes, I believe that's something that you could find about online when ordering. It's something the website will ask you upon purchase if you would like to have it installed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just had this unit installed in my F250 and it has improved how my music sounds dramatically. Not sure about mounting it in a panel; it works really well under a seat and would probably be fine mounted in the back of a 4Runner in the cargo area. This is a self-amplified sub, there’s no external amp needed. Install ran about $150. The guys at the Pensacola Best Buy did a really nice job; ran me through operating and adjusting it as well as telling me to come back if there is ever any questions or issues.
