• Cool shield or Clean Release cavity coating. Both easy -clean and scratch RESISTANT (not scratch-able w a sponge or cloth). They will scratch if you work at it with a product like steel wool or scour pad. Use a nice spray foam cleaner and let it soak. The. A rag or sponge and wipe it off. Patience and a good cleaning agent go a long way.

• Not sure what it is made of inside it is a silver color and wipes clean easily. I have had no scratches and have had since the summer

• Silver interior so like it better than white interior of previous microwaves. Only had a short time and always cover items now so haven't had to clean much so not sure about scratching.

• Hello eess, there is a cook shield finish that is applied to stainless steel. The interior’s CookShield Finish wipes clean without harsh chemicals so it looks brighter longer.
