“The height states 34.5 inches but cutout height states 34. My cut out is 34 in. high. Will this fit?”

Yes. i called Kitchenaid with the same question. They found in the manual that the size will work by lowering the bottom to the floor without the 4 little pillars and if needed, pare down the insulation above. My unit was installed at 34.5 inches and fits and looks fine.

Yes, max is 34.5 but it can go down to 33.5. The dishwasher itself can be lower or riser!!

My empty cabinet height was just under 34 inches and this dishwasher fit fine.

There are adjustable legs on the bottom of the dw.
