A:AnswerYes -- we had a free standing range and installed this one in it's place. I fits perfectly.. The controls are on the front so the back doesn't stick up like a freestanding range, so if your backsplash doesn't go all the way down to the counter height you might have a gap. Our backsplash goes all the way to the countertop and it looks and works perfectly.
A:AnswerThe depth closed excluding handles is 26 3/8. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid appliances!
A:AnswerHello! The range can be connected directly to the circuit breaker box (or fused disconnect) through flexible or nonmetallic sheathed, copper, or aluminum cable. A:AnswerHi SAM, unfortunately, this KitchenAid - 6.4 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Electric Convection Range
only has the AquaLift® Self Clean Cycle. In order to use the AquaLift Cycle, we would recommend removing all racks and accessories from the oven cavity and wipe any excess soil. We would then recommend using 2 cups of distilled or filtered water onto the bottom of the empty oven and close the oven door. Then Press CLEAN or AQUALIFT SELF CLEAN and then START
on the oven control panel. Allow 40 minutes for cleaning and cool down. A beep will
sound when the Clean cycle is complete. Press CANCEL, CANCEL UPPER or OFF at the end of the
cycle. Cancel, Cancel Upper or Off may be pressed at any
time to stop the Clean cycle.
A:AnswerHello Grace! It is normal for wall ovens and ranges to get hot on the outside. Depending on where the vent is will determine which areas get hotter. While you should be able to touch the outside of the range we would not recommend keeping hands on the unit. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
