QuestionIs there a light in the microwave? We had our kitchen redone and our contractor installed our appliances and we have noticed there is no light or button to turn on for the microwave? We think we see a small led light inside?

- Answer Yes, it has a light, though it automatically turns on. There is no button on the panel that my wife and I know of. It's dim, however. My wife was disappointed by the amount of light it provides. Part of the issue, as I see it, is the black dots on the glass to keep the microwaves form coming out.

- Answer The oven comes with a flex whip and wires with no plug. You can either hardwire to wall box, or install a plug on whip and 220 outlet on wall. I just adapted a 90 degree flex connector to oven whip and blank wall plate.

QuestionMy breakbox has 40 amps. this electrical specification has 32 amps. my question is; (1)40 needs to change to 30.(2)40 needs to change to 35. (3) fo not need to change. I hear 3 different answer. I am confused. need your help. model # is "koce500ess".

- Answer You should be able to use up to 40 amps total before overloading the circuit. So if the oven calls for 32 amps, you’ll be fine as long as the oven is the only item wired into that circuit.

- Answer Yes, the unit comes with a meat probe. It plugs into the side of the oven and has an 18" cord - ample to reach cooking shelves. Once plugged in, the meat is cooked to that temperature at which time an alarm sounds.
