• We've had our range for almost 6 months, and so far so good, still looks like new. What type of 'smudge' are you referring too? If maybe oil from cooking or fingerprints like the fridge shows, nothing on the range.

• I own the range about a month. It does get smudges from handprints, grease splatters, etc. I bought a stainless steel spray cleaner for around $5 and a quick spray and wipe with a micrfiber cloth retores the original shine.
