- Answer Yes. The mixing bowl is the same size as with the Artisan (5 quart) just different style. The bowl locks in on the side of the bowls instead of at the base. The head of the mixer doesn't tilt back.

QuestionHow high is this rated compared to other Kitchensid mixers?

- Answer I jumped on this deal to replace my white 40 year old kitchen aid to get a cool color. Quality is not there. Not close to the same. Motor is loud, beater misses the bowl edge by at least an inch, and the whisking beater is not dishwasher safe. I do not recommend.
