This scanner only scans 35mm slides and strip film. I recommend a Epson V19 or similar for flatbed scanning. The Scanza pIctures are saved to a memory card in jpg format. The unit has a set naming convention by numbering the pictures. After you copy the files to your computer, you can rename them. You can remove the memory card and use it to get prints. I recommend copying the pictures to computer, rename files and then you can copy to a thumb drive or burn to a CD. The files are in JPG.format.

Names, places and dates can be added. As for sizes, you may need a program to redize the uploads as needed. The Scanza itself can scan upto 8x11 photos.
