“Is there a way to keep the keyboard connected to the device via Bluetooth or maybe a another connector? My kid is hunched over. Raising the device makes the keyboard go too high for her. Thanks.”

You can get an extra bluetooth keyboard that can be placed away from the device. You'll probably also need a bluetooth mouse though. An extension cable is a good idea though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard needs the physical connection to the screen for the keyboard to work. It is a touchscreen device, for simple user input, possible tapping the screen may work.
