In a lot of ways it does work like a computer.. I have a mouse although I could use the touchpad.. it has speakers and I like them but I also have Bluetooth headphones which makes listening to things and not bothering my wife at night.. it is however a Chromebook.. so to speak firstly a tablet but with the included keyboard that magnetically attaches to the tablet it works very much like a laptop. The system uses Chrome, Android, and Linux if you want.. I love the battery life. Just ordered a USI pen for drawing using an app that came with the Duet.. the screen brightness is about 400 nits which is plenty bright.. only thing I am pretty sure you can't do is burn DVD's with it.. I hope this helps you with your decision to get one.. I love mine! Not a replacement for a computer but does well for most needs I believe! Enjoy..
