Does this laptop run cool without a fan? null

Hey Beamerb, This IdeaPad Slim 3i does not feature a fanless design. The system was designed with air cooling in place, so that it can run effectively without overheating being an area of concern. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions!

Adding more info: any laptop will run hot if you push its CPU past its performance limits. With the fan on this one, you probably can operate with less chance of this happening, but it really matters with you. Also, NEVER place a laptop on a pillow or bed, as the cloth will block fans and cause possibly dangerous results. If you find that you are encountering heat issues on any laptop, (1) use Task Manager to see what inessential processes you can close. (2) Consider getting a laptop cooler; for very little money (around $30) you are providing great protection for a much more expensive item.
