I would say no. The laptop is very powerful but is dead in less than an hour if im running design software unplugged. This is really more of a workstation than a laptop.

Please try again later.Hey Ben, Since the system is designed for gaming and the chipset isn't the most efficient, battery life isn't on par with that you'd see with traditional laptops. Based on user reviews, if you're using the Legion Pro 5 for productivity, when not gaming, if you switch the display's refresh rate to 60Hz by pressing Fn + R, toggle to battery saving / quiet mode by pressing Fn + Q, and switch the system's working GPU mode to the integrated AMD GPU (which can be done in the Legion Space app), you should be able to squeeze out 4 or more hours of battery life.
