• It's not a normal computer power cord; it plugs into a USB port.

• It's more like a 12 VDC with a wall wart than a normal cord. It has a wall wart, a single cord(no filter or regulator) and the plug that goes into the monitor is a tiny square-ish thing. I don't know a ton about cables but it doesn't look like any I've seen before.

• The AC power adapter is a standard 110v wall plug format.

• It's a standard grounded plug on the end that plugs into the wall. As for the other end, it's proprietary.
