Is the build metal, plastic, or a combination of both? null

The case on this system is aluminum.

The entire outside shell is metal, minus the plastic keyboard keys (which have the metal frame in-between the keys). The build quality of the unit is fantastic.

The build is a dark gray/light black metal in a non-shiny pearl finish, giving it a classy look and feel.

Combination. Body itself seems to be mostly plastic.
