• Yes, you can hook up a mouse and does support Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. So far everything that we have on our desktops.

• You can use a mouse, wired or wireless, touchpad, fingers, mouse keys, virtual keyboard, you name it. And like all Windows-based computers, it supports all Microsoft products, though how well might be a question. In this case, the answer to that would be "very well."
