“We recently purchased an LG lmv2031st. The cabinet above the oven was too big - so we removed it. Is there some kit or "L" type brackets that we can get to secure the microwave from the top ?”

• The microwave is designed to be hung from a cabinet above. Go to Home Depot, etc or even Craigslist and find a cabinet that will work. Do you have a cabinet above your refrigerator?..they should be the same size as the cabinet above the range...use that cabinet instead (if you have one).

• No, the LMV2031ST requires there be an upper cabinet for proper installation as it must have the upper cabinet for the top secure bolts to help hold and secure the unit in place.
