• As cautioned in the owner's manual for the LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming, "DO NOT EXPOSE THIS PRODUCT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE". We are not clear on what "Obviously in covered location but is outdoors" is but if you are referring to a patio or a garden summer house, then you can use it there at your discretion as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight, dust, excessive heat or moisture ...^IFV

• You can use it wherever you can connect it to power and a sound source. How long it lasts will be dependent on how well it's protected from the elements
