• the soudbar has speakers built into it and the subwoofer is wireless. I have been playing my Ipod Touch through it and the sound quality is great. My wife claimed she could here the music coming from the house with the door closed and her out in her car in the driveway. For TV it has great sound

• The soundbar has integrated speakers. The combination of the soundbar and sub-woofer produces sound better than the surround-sound system I had (with 6 speakers). It's really amazing and takes 2 minutes to set up (if that).
