“Rephrasing a ?, will DirectTV pass a DD signal via HDMI thru my TV to LG via optical audio? I ordered the LG, so I guess I'll find out - just wondered if anyone is using this with a D*rcTV input? I've heard mixed answers to this, hopefully it does. TIA”

• I am using it with direct TV no problem. it uses an optical cable that connects direct to TV. Works fine.

• Replying to my own question, I just realized the DirecTv receiver has a optical audio output and bypassing my TV should resolve any issues. I'll find out once I receive my LG unit, but I'm pretty sure it should work.
