ExtendaVent 2.0 Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking, Model # LMHM2237BD has a vent grille located in the top front of the microwave through which is vents into the room away from the upper cabinets under which it is installed. That would be in a direction toward you above you...^IFV

• It blows directly up from the front top of the unit. The unit come a little further out than cabinet to allow air flow.
