• Frosty, To get the Ice Maker functional on the LG - 23.8 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS24223B, the water line has to be connected to an external cold water supply! Unless you have plumbing experience, you will probably have to have a qualified plumber connect the water line for you...IFV

• Yes, you have to hire a plummer to run a line to attached to the ice maker. Cost is around $200.
