If the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 23.8 cu. ft. Large Capacity 33” Wide Top Mount Refrigerator, Model # LTCS24223S is a new installation, you would have had to dispense about 2 gallons of water from the dispenser to help purge any air or debris from the refrigerators water line system. If the ice is being used for the first, the recommendation is to dispose of the first two bins of ice. Check to see if the ice and tap water from the sink have a similar taste. You may also want to check if you are using water softeners. Water softeners do not have a taste in the liquid state, however, when frozen, the chemical properties of these softeners change and there are instances where water will taste fine but the ice will not. If the water in your home has any impurities that require removal prior to consumption, a water purifying system may be required...^IFV
