“Would like manufacturer response to this question: I have a 36 inch wide space. Have read 2” clearance on either side is recommended for this fridge. Can I 'fudge' on that recommended clearance?”

Insufficient spacing can reduce the refrigerator’s freezing efficiency and increase electricity consumption; therefore I cannot advised any differently that what is stated in the Owner's Manual. For proper ventilation, please allow 2" at the back and sides of the refrigerator. ^Daphane
