• No, but it is not necessary. The "Night Dry" option will leave open a vent inside the door which provides the same functionality while keeping the dishes inside sanitized (if the steam option is enabled).

• No, the door does not open, it shows end on screen. It has an excellent dryer & even plastics come out dry & the light is. Game changer! Love, love this dishwasher!
