The LG XL Load Capacity with NeveRust™ Stainless Steel Drum (4.0 cu.ft. IEC) Front Load Washer, Model # WM0642HW has a height of 44" and was compatible with the LG Laundry Pedestal with a Handle, Model # WDP2W. The LG XL Capacity Electric Dryer with 9 Drying Programs and NeveRust™ Stainless Steel Drum (7.3 cu.ft. IEC), Model # DLE0442W has a height of 42 3/4" but did not have a Laundry Pedestal that it was compatible with. The WDP2W pedestal is a discontinued pedestal and the current pedestal that is compatible with 27" Front Load Washers is the LG Laundry Pedestal with Storage, Model # WDP4W. The difference between the discontinued WDP2W and the current WDP4W is their heights. The WDP2W had a height of 7.67" and raised compatible washers by 7". The WDP4W on the other hand has a height of 13 3/5" and would effectively raise your washer by 13". It is designed for current Select 27" LG Front Load Washers that typically have a height of 38 11/16" in contrast to your washer that has a height of 44". So even though your washer will fit on the current pedestal, it will be much taller. Your Dryer, the DLE0442W will not fit on the current pedestal...^IFV
