“I just purchased an LG WD 4000 washer. I have the chance to buy a WDP5V or a WDP4W. They both appear to be identical in the pictures. Will either one work? Thanks”

• The WDP5V is 29" wide. The WDP4W is 27" wide. You have to purchase the pedestal that matches the width of your dryer.

• Triple Check the dimensions of your washer to the dimensions of the pedestal if your washer is 27 inch wide go with the wdp4 series if your washer is 29 inches wide go with the wdp5 series. Hope that helps. And save you some headache of potential return that we went thru!

• Pedestal WDP4W is for 27" front load units and pedestal WDP5V is for 29" front load washer. You will need to purchase the one with the same width as the washer. ^Daphane
