Hi LGAnswers, thanks for replying. But that doesn't really answer the question, Does this control happen when I'm sending audio VIA THE TOSLINK OPTICAL OUTPUT CONNECT from the TV to the stereo (which is NOT a receiver, by the way)? I don't want to use headphone or RCA connectors to send audio, only OPTICAL, and I need to know if the remote volume control controls audio going out the OPTICAL connector.
