Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine also had no protective cover over the screen, but did around the edges, just as you described. The entire screen was in a large loose fitting plastic bag to protect it. See the image of the white bag with red markings in front of my display unit! The monitor has been a joy to use!
