I've finally upgraded my two tiny monitors in my office. After buying this monitor, I don't think I can go back to dual monitor set up anymore. This is just fluid. So much real estate I can work with.
Controls are at the bottom of the monitor, very convenient and user friendly. The colors are super crispy. The color red is really red and black is super black! I used night mode a lot so this is just amazing. I'm a typical user. I don't test whether there's bleeding or ghosting. All I can say is I was blown away with this monitor. Two BIG pluses that came with this monitor. 1. There's an HDMI cable included. SWEET!!! 2. I has a build in speakers. I wasn't expecting that. And to seal the deal, it was on sale so that solidify my decision to purchase it.

I purchased this monitor to upgrade my smaller two monitor setup I had connected to my Desktop PC. 2 - 27 inch monitors on a dual monitor stand.
One of the reason's I purchased this was due to the fact I could have multiple devices that can connect to it. So when I work from home I no longer have to look at the small screen on my work laptop, I can plug in the HDMI cable to my laptop while using the Display Port to connect to my desktop.
I can use them as individual screens or combine them to make one ultra wide screen for gaming.... I just replaced the dual monitor stand with two single monitor stands and I was ready to go. Setup is easy and switching between inputs is a snap.
34 inch LG in the center and 27" monitors on either side.

I love this thing! I can split the screen 17 different ways for viewing documents. Not a gamer so I took a risk with this but I am extremely satisfied. The clarity is amazing. One catch is the clicking sound it seems to make but I believe that is from the connection with the Surface Dock!

Rather than go w/two monitors, I wanted to go w/one wide screen.
No complaints on my part.
Great picture, using an RTX2060 graphics card, even for extreme gaming, like Star Citizen.

Exterior design and finish are very nice. Picture quality appear good, however, I have yet to watch an action show on it. It is excellent for use as a computer monitor!

Lets face it - I'm almost 50 years old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. 1080p is likely the best resolution my eyes can handle - anything higher than that and I need to be several feet away otherwise I can't tell the difference.
Despite my age, I still play FPS games on a very regular basis. I got this monitor wanting the extra wide view and it definitely delivered!
Colors are bright, letters are crisp - I couldn't ask for more! It has built in speakers , so in addition to my PC which is hooked up via DisplayPort, I plugged in a Roku into the HDMI and am using it as a makeshift 3rd TV for the house. When on the PC I use the built-in speakers late at night when my HTX certified speaker system is too much and will keep the whole household awake.
Very happy with my purchase - it's going to be hard to go back to a 16:9 monitor at work, or worse, a 4:3 that I occasionally deal with!

This monitor is awesome! No dead pixels after unpacking. Easy hookup. Nice touch with the cable management hook. Height and tilt adjustable. Picture quality is nice at 2560x1080. Be sure to set your display properties in Windows at 75mhz, if you're using displayport. The control stick is really easy to use and 2nd nature after a few times. This isn't an issue for me but if you were to VESA mount this, know that the VESA mounts are at the very bottom which could cause placement issues.
One last thing - this 34"" ultra-wide is the same height as a 27" 16x9 monitor. My set-up is this LG ultra-wide in the middle, flanked by 2, 27'' 16x9 monitors on each side. All 3 monitors line up exactly the same display height with a little adjustment. I've combined all 3 monitors to run at a resolution at 6400x1080 pixels on a Nvidia 1070 card. Absolutely no problems with flickering/refresh rates. Watch a movie or play games on a 6400x1080 resolution and you'll realize how immersive the viewing experience is.

I got this monitor at a great price. It's huge. It's very easy to set up and get up and running. I have 2 wide screen monitors at work, but this single monitor is like the equivalent of that for my home office setup. I don't play games with it. I am only using it for office work and the increased screen width has definitely increased my productivity. Well worth it. No issues at all and when I wasn't sure hot to set it up for full size screen usage, online tech support was there to help me. I would recommend this and would buy again.

I love love love this monitor. I use it for work and having able to open multiple programs and see it all at once is so great! I was going to invest in dual 24 inch monitor but too much cable and expensive, all I need is power cable and HDMI (which is provided) to connect to my work lap top. The price is very fair. It’s definitely a great investment. Remember to download split screen from LG website. Very great software and make my task easy n organized. This is actually what sold me too. I have researched a lot of monitor and this is one of the best one without breaking the bank.

Ok so I bought this monitor because it had a USB-C slot and I thought I could connect my Macbook Pro with it without the use of a dongle or something like that.
THAT DOES NOT WORK!
Just in case you were thinking of buying it for that reason. It works sometimes but 98% of the time it doesn’t. The thunderbolt cable is not a dedicated display port and thus doesn’t work as such most times. So if you find a better value monitor with same specs and more HDMI slots I might have gone with that one.
Overall its a great monitor, great size, responsiveness (I don’t game in it, I just edit videos) , and great value.

I had previously used two Lenovo 23 inch monitors for a dual screen setup, and it took up most of my desk space, sadly a family member ruined one of the monitors and it was time to look for a replacement. I was originally going to buy two more, but then looked into ultra widescreen monitors and came across a few. I knew LG has been making wonderful displays since I work in the cell phone industry and thought I'd give their monitor a try. I measured and found that even this size would save space. The on screen control software is nice and can snap windows in different tile settings, 3x3, 4x4, 2x4, etc, along with Picture and Picture. I like the hidden cord design they used on the stand, it's well built and adjustable. I mostly do web browsing and multitask between several internet windows, so for this use the monitor is perfect. It is advertised as a gaming monitor and I've noticed picture and video playback is nice and smooth. It's been great right out of the box.

I got this LG 34 inch UltraWide FHD FreeSync monitor for less than 300 and have been using it for about a month now.
Can't complain, easy setup, and wide enough for me to do all my spreadsheet split screens. Make sure though, that your desk has enough depth otherwise you may feel like it's too wide. REMINDER: IT'S NOT A CURVED MONITOR!
It's a good purchase.

I’m a college student and use this monitor for my homework and for writing reports. I absolutely love this screen size and all the functionality you can use with it. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro and it works great with it as an external monitor. Only thing to note is that when you use your computer after having it connected to the screen all the applications opened have a little funky dimensions, but that’d be the only thing. You can’t go wrong with this monitor for the price. I spent a lot of time researching monitors and desktop computers before I got this one and I’m so happy with my choice. I really like the fact that the screen can move up and down and also tilt slightly. Depending on your desk height it makes it easy to go from sitting to standing without changing how you see the screen. All in all it’s a great monitor!

Look No Further! Amazing IPS LED Monitor

I previously had purchased the 29" model for this line of LG IPS monitor and I loved it no questions. However, when i found out there was a 34" inch, i waited for it to be on special and purchased it. I bought a open box-excellent quality. Mine did come with a tiny scratch in the corner of the actual screen (compare to 2 or 3 dead pixel size) I purchased the 4 warranty, so I just going to keep it as it was USED-Open box and I do have warranty :)
Now lets get to the point. This is a true IPS lcd, it is view able at a parallel angle: that is truly impressive, I can be in the kitchen and still see the image very clearly and colorful, colors do not lose their saturation or vibrancy. This monitor is very colorful and vibrant, when it comes to the colors. Image is crisp, I know this is only 75 hertz and only 1080p, but the sharpness of image and text is way above average and completely satisfying. I cant say much for the speakers as I use my home theater. The joy stick controls the LCD menus. Brilliant idea, makes navigating so user friendly. If you are debating between an ultra wide monitor or a curve LCD, this is worth the best bang for your buck. Look no further, get the 29" or the 34" if like you prefer the bigger screen and don't mind a little pixelation (if its 720p, 1080p looks superb can hardly tell, 4k is an over kill IMO, 2k if you have the money then go for it) Will never go back to traditional 16:9 monitors, for ever 21:9 IPS LED LCDS :)

Awesome moniror. Unfortunatly doesn't have the highest refresh rate so turning vsync on really helps. Having said that you can't beat the price. Also I love the app that allows you to have 8 screens in one. I would buy this moniter again for sure. Great for gaming and do work.

For this price tag this is the best that you can ever think of at this time. If you are looking for a similar sized monitor with higher specs, you will be spending at 3 times the price for this monitor. I use it mainly for work not gaming and it perfectly satisfied my needs.

I purchased this monitor for my new work from home office. I have been spending plenty of time working from home now and really enjoy the extra space. The size is great for the large spreadsheets I work on, the snapping and adjustable window sizes are great for multi-tasking.
Other features I like are the adjustable height and tilt, built-in speakers (not great, but saves me from having another set of speakers on my small desk), USB-C port, and of the wide viewing angles.
For the little bit of gaming I have done I have enjoyed it as well. The picture is sharp and the colors are great. Really enjoying this monitor for my purpose.

My son loves this giant screen for gaming. (and it was great for remote school too but he would never admit it.) It's August 2021 and still going strong. It was very easy to set up.
