“What is the diameter of the hose that caries the extracted water to the drainpipe in the laundry room? I have a single drainpipe for washer and dryer drainage, so I want to make sure that there is enough room for both hoses in this pipe. Thanks”

The diameter is 0.5 inches. However, there is a plastic piece at the end of the hose that flares out to 1 inch. That piece might be removable but it's hard to tell without pulling on it.
