Hi there, Robert. We understand your inquiry regarding the drying times for your LG 4.2 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer with Dual Inverter HeatPump. We understand that efficiency is important to you when handling laundry. Heat pump dryers operate at lower temperatures to protect fabrics and save energy, which naturally results in longer cycle times compared to traditional vented dryers. For heavy items like sheets and towels, we recommend using the "Bedding" or "Heavy Duty" cycle and ensuring the lint filter is cleaned before every load to maintain optimal airflow. Additionally, ensure the load is not exceeding the drum's capacity, as HeatPump technology requires sufficient space for the air to circulate effectively. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-4-2-cu-ft-stackable-smart-electric-dryer-with-dual-inverter-heatpump-white/J7G564PKKC We understand you may have further questions about the settings or performance of your HeatPump dryer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine for towels but if you fill it to capacity ir will take more than a cycle. Keep it to 75% and 1 cycle will do for each load, even with 2-3 towels and other stuff inside. When doing sheets, we only add pillow cases and underwear to fill ti to 3/4, not other towels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Seems too long. I do run an additional one cycle for 30 minutes on air dry for sheets and towels. I would check your air duct and see if it's clogged.
