The Energy Star® Certified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Gas Dryer WashTower with Steam and Built-In Intelligence - Graphite Steel, Model # WKG101HVA, will NOT work at 230 V. Because the "G" in the model number designates this as a Gas Dryer model, both the washer and the gas dryer components are natively built to run on standard 120V, 60Hz, North American household power. The washer requires 120V, 60Hz, 10 Amps, and the dryer requires 120V, 60Hz, 15 Amps. The unit comes equipped with standard 120V 3-prong power cords intended for traditional household wall outlets. Plugging a 120V appliance directly into a 230V line will permanently fry the internal control boards, motor windings, and electronic components. The gas version ships from the factory configured for use with natural gas, but it can be converted for use with Liquefied Propane (LP) gas. The Electric Dryer version of this identical machine that natively requires a 240V/230V heavy-duty 30-amp circuit is the Energy Star® Certified LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower™ with Center Control™ 4.5 cu. Ft. Washer and 7.4 cu. Ft. Electric Dryer, Model # WKE100HVA. The 240V/230V requirement is strictly for the electric dryer heating element. The washer portion always operates on standard 120V household power...^Ivan.
