  • QuestionWhat are exact specifications for the type of bolts i need to mount a bracket to it?

    Asked by GameBoyPlayer999.

    • Answer Mounting brackets have varying depths that determine the length of the VESA standard screws that can be used to mount the 48-inch Class LG OLED AI B5 4K Smart TV 2025, Model # OLED48B5PUA. Specifications for the TV only list a metric width for the VESA standard screws that will fit into the mounting holes on the back of the TV which is M6 (or 6 mm) for this TV. The TV has a 300 x 200 mm VESA Mount Pattern, so when you buy a third-party VESA-compliant Wall mount that supports the TV's VESA Mount Pattern, it will typically comes with two or three sets of screws with varying lengths and spacers that you can use if the screws are too long. For example, the LG EZ Slim Wall Mount for LG TVs (VESA - 300 X 300 / 300 X 200 / 400 X 200), which is a full motion wall mount, comes with four M6 x L45, four M6 x L18 Guide Spacer screws and four Guide Spacer A and four Guide Spacer B.. If you have an existing mount that supports the TV's VESA Mount Pattern, it should have come with the necessary screws and spacers you can use with the TV. If you have lost them, you can check the mount's installation guide to see what length of screws were provided with the mount or contact the manufacturer...^Ivan.

  • QuestionDoes this tv have local dimming?

    Asked by Jeff.

    • Answer Hello there, Jeff. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. We understand your inquiry regarding the dimming technology used in the OLED48B5PUA and how it manages light levels across the screen. The OLED48B5PUA features our advanced Pixel Dimming technology rather than the traditional local dimming found in standard LED-backlit televisions. Because this is an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, each of the over 8 million pixels is self-lit and can brighten, dim, or turn off completely and independently. This allows the unit to achieve "Perfect Black" and infinite contrast, as there is no light bleed from bright areas into dark areas of the image. Our α8 AI Processor 4K Gen2 works to manage these individual pixels with incredible precision, ensuring that you receive a stunning and accurate picture for all your favorite content. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-48-class-b5-series-oled-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/JJ8VPZTK9F If you have any further questions about the panel specifications, picture modes, or setup of this unit, please contact us on [email protected], and our team will be more than happy to assist you further through a private message. —Renzo

    Asked by Ron.

The LG 48" Class B5 Series OLED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model: # OLED48B5PUA, supports Bluetooth Auracast. • QuestionHow do you get LG WebOS to recognize an AirTV device on my WiFi network? Only solution I can find is to return the LG and buy a different brand that uses Google TV or Roku.

    Asked by JimM.

    • Answer LG's webOS is not strictly necessary to detect or use an AirTV device, but it is one way to access the required software (the Sling TV app). AirTV devices (AirTV 1, AirTV 2, or AirTV Anywhere) work by connecting to your network and streaming local channels through the Sling TV app, not via a direct hardware connection to the TV. The Sling TV app is a preinstalled app on the LG 48" Class B5 Series OLED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED48B5PUA, so it should detect the AirTV on your network and integrate the channels. The AirTV and the TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network for the Sling app to detect the device...^Ivan.

  • QuestionHow difficult is the smart remote on the LG48 for a couple in their 70's Tom use ?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Since I'm a mere few years away from starting my 70s, I believe I can safely say using the remote on my LG OLED TV is easy once you you get acquainted with the controls. This being said, the one feature I personally do not like is the rapid speech from the TV when a selection is made or a description of a show is being read. It's very mono-toned without inflection or, grammatical pause. I typically mute my TV until I finally make my selection and start watching a movie.
