“Have had this TV for a few weeks, and noticed a bubble recently in the middle of the screen. There haven't been any impacts on it, and was wondering if there was a film covering g the front that I just didn't remove when I originally opened/setup the TV?”

• The only film mine had on it was around the outside frame and where the energy efficiency sticker laid. There is no other film- unfortunately that sounds like a defect.

• I had a small bubble on mine. I called tech support and they told me to get a pin and try to poke a hole in it so I could smooth it out. I stuck the bubble and it shattered, was not plastic it was glass!
