The Optical Digital Audio Out on the LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UM7300PUA cannot be muted if you have an external receiver, Home Theater System or Soundbar connected to it and you have selected it in the Sound Out settings as how you want audio to be transferred from the TV to external audio devices...^IFV
