• ARC is a feature that allows your TV to control connected devices without the need for multiple remotes. It will automatically turn on/off your surround sound, and set it to the proper inputs, Turn on your blu-ray player, etc...

• ARC is audio return channel. it purpose is to transfer the sound back to your receiver, then the receiver delivery the aound to your speaker.

• ARC stands for Audio Return Channel. If you have a home theater receiver that also supports it, you can use one HDMI cable to send video from your receiver to your TV and audio from your TV to your receiver. This is useful when your TV is being used as the programming source and you want to feed the audio output to your home theater system.
