• I'm an android guy my self and logged in with all my google services and amazon prime with no problem. This TV is meeting my expectations.

• We are an android household as well. We did not find it a problem. If you have Netflix or Amazon Prime you may need passwords to set up. Because those were stored though on our network we found the passwords did not have to be entered.

• No, you do not need an Apple device. This TV will support Android devices for all Smart features. ^Daphane
