• Yes the g2 does have a heat sink. The heat sink is supposed to allow the TV to run brighter (hotter). As for helping prevent burn in I don't know if that will help prevent burn in but the 5 year warranty should help put that fear to rest.

• The heat sink does not prevent burn in but allows LG to increase the brightness of the OLED screen. It has the brightest screen of any OLED television.
