“I just hooked everything up to my LG 4.1 and I am hearing a constant static/crummy noise (kind of like a constant grasshopper) coming from the rear speakers. Any suggestions on fixing it?”

Are they wireless? Did you hook up the ferrite core on the wires? It sounds like interference coming from some device. How close is your router to the components? Try shutting off any devices you are not using and move them to a distance away from the speakers/ receiver. Shut off a device at a time and see if it makes a difference to single out which one it might be.
