“When mounted to the ceiling, are there additional cords that work with the unit other than the one it comes with? I'm struggling to figure out how to handle the cords with the AC DC adapter.”

I have the unit mounted on the ceiling. I simply wrapped the ac power cord around the mount, used velcro to hold the power supply to the right top ( away from the air vent) and then wrapped the low voltage around the mount. You never see it ... Just a note be sure to follow the guide on the distance based on your screen size. I replaced a high end sony but the "throw distance for a 135 in screen was much shorter than the sony, no way to adjust, so i had to mount the LG 5 feet closer, even though the screen was 135 inches.
