    • Answer I checked the open-door alarm on my LG French Door refrigerator: According to the db meter on my iPhone, the alarm is about 70 db, at about 1500 Herz. It rings 3 little chimes each cycle. I can’t further attest to the accuracy of this, but if anything, it seems quieter than that to me.
