A:AnswerAlexa is an app. You should be able to uninstall it. If you are not sure about doing that, then go to Task Manager, Startup Tab, select Alexa, and disable it from startup. To me that would be the preferred option in case you change your mind in the future. Bottom line -- Alexa is an app and can be treated/maintained/uninstalled like any other app.
A:AnswerMine came with Windows 10. During setup I was given an option to upgrade to WIndows 11, which I selected. Once the desktop came up, Windows 11 began to download. The description is a little misleading since it says WIndows 11 as the operating system. Maybe going forward it will be already installed but wasn't for mine. If you are one of the "lucky ones" like me then expect setup to take a little longer. It is worth it though. This is a really nice laptop well worth the price.
