“Does this product make it possible to read discs on a Samsung notebook laptop spin? I'm wanting to install a game or possibly get pictures off a disc onto my laptop.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should, as long as you have a USB port. I was able to install windows 10 and drivers for various hardware on new PC build without any issues. The optical drive didn't require me to install any of LG's drivers before I was able to use it. I was able to plug it in and use it. On top of that you can seamlessly boot an operating system and or disk image from it.

You insert the DVD or cd and then, plug the USB cable into your tablet or laptop and it displays on those devices as an external storage device, go your "file management" application i.e. File Explorer and that drive will be listed, click on it and you'll see your data on the drive. If it's a game click it and it will play
