Will this be compatible for/to my Chromebook? null

This unit is compatible with the following operating systems: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista™, Windows XP, Windows, Windows 2000 Professional, and Mac OS 10.4.10 or higher. ^CP

So long as you have a USB port (2 or 3) it’ll work. Uses commercial AC to power it so you only need I port to make it work.
