“Would this monitor work with a Microsoft Surface Book 2 that has USB-c? (I know that the 4096x2304 works but I am not sure about this monitor since the resolution is very high - 5K)”

27MD5KA can’t support USB-C interface. It supports only Thunderbolt interface. 22MD4KA can support USB-C interface and it’s maximum resolution is 4096x2304. ^AC
