Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer, is you need to have a router before it. I assume when you say wireless modems you mean "routers". If you modem is a combination that also doubles as a router that would work fine. If it is only a modem, then there is nothing to "route" the traffic. So it goes... modem, router, switch. You will know if your modem is a router combo if there is more than one Ethernet port to plug into on it.
