• There shouldn’t be a delay with your modems with this and yes 1 port can handle everything else. For a basic home setup

• Delay would be too fast to notice, so No. Just need to buy another Ethernet cable *(short will work) plug regular cord from wall into this box then use new short cord plug into where you had before then add extra cables for other 3 empty holes to whatever.....but this isn't POE (Power Over Ethernet, > look it up)
