• It worked with my CenturyLink 1G service but not at full quoted speed. Was getting around 500-600Mbps in both directions. Not saying it was the router definitely but I uploads were faster with the stock CenturyLink router with the wired connection. Don't expect wireless speed to get close to 1G. Even on the best connection the best you will do with AC at this point is probably in 500Mbps range. Typically youre more likely to see speeds in the 200-400Mbps range.

• Hi, mswi68. As long as your internet service provider connects to the EA9300 via Ethernet, then it is compatible and can support your 1 Gbps speed.
